• Developed partnerships for low-cost manufacturing and product development.
• We worked with a major US based industrial automation company to establish low cost manufacturing in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and China.
• Helped establish Research & Development centers in the Czech Republic and China.
• Established subsidiaries and new business entities.
• Assisted US based clients to establish wholly-owned entities in the Czech Republic, China, Korea and Japan.
• Negotiated and managed multiple joint ventures.
• Established JV’s in Japan, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland
• Helped client to buy out JV partners in China. This project was accomplished under very adversarial conditions requiring forensic criminal investigation, legal prosecution and successful settlement.
• Set up manufacturing, distribution and sales organizations.
• Helped US based companies establish Asian and European sales and distribution.
• Developed relationships between industry and technical universities to access engineering talent and establish pools of local expertise.
• Developed and managed unique Industry-Technical University cooperative program in U.S., Europe, Latin America and China which became a model for International Industry-Academia Collaboration.
